On the occasion of the completion of the 25th anniversary of the launch of the European Financial Programme LIFE and the adoption of the Habitats Directive, on which the creation of the European Network of Protected Areas NATURA 2000 was based, the Green Fund and the Greek LIFE Task Force (GR LTF) organized an Information and Celebration Event. The event took place on May 18, 2017, at Villa Kazouli, Athens.

LIFE National Contact Points, GR LTF experts, representatives of the NEMO External Monitoring Group, the EASME and the European Investment Bank were present at the event with presentations. In a specially designed area, posters and information material for LIFE projects, had been posted. EKBY participated with the presentation of the ForestLife, JunEx and AdaptFor projects.
