Online database of forest educational programs

A collaboration initiative of international organizations working in forest education and communication (GFIS.net, IUFRO-IFSA Task Force) led to the launch of a worldwide database of educational programs in the scientific fields of forestry and wood technology. The database includes, for the time being, 896 different educational programs leading to a B.Sc., a M.Sc. or a Ph.D. So far, concerning Greece, the database includes the educational programs of the Democritus University of Thrace and the Technological Institutes of Kavala and Lamia.

Later on, the database is expected to host external news, scholarships and mobility opportunities and other information.
